I mean totally agree with online mode it sucks ass, but me personaly like smash more maybe because i only play with friends lokal, but brawlhalla is very fun in its own ways. brawl is better than smash lmao ok, seriously, smash requires a specific console to play AND a subscription to play online if I'm correct, AND the game itself also costs money. brawl runs on a pc, a potato pc actually, is free, and doesn't require a subscription to anything. even if smash is better than brawl, just play brawl because at least you don't have to pay a monthly subscription to a greedy company just to play it.

@@notkamui9749 that's not even the only point I made? in fact it's probably the smallest thing brawl has going for it right now. the fact is that many people have a computer than can run brawl, and it's free. all you need is internet, which you need for smash anyway on top of a monthly subscription for online interactions AND you need to pay for the game itself. brawl isn't exactly a well designed game, but it sure as hell is a better option than smash at this point.

Smash is the go to option for competitive play. And I'm not even talking about Smash Ultimate necessarily, there's also Melee, which, nowadays, is played either on a directly on gamecube, or even for free with emulation by MANY players, and online, still for free. On top of that, many *good* competitive games concentrate their scene on locals, not online, the latter being virtually a bad idea for fighting games. You can compare two games/franchise when you do know these, if not, that's a bad idea, because your arguments then sound like nothing useful for the conversation. In the end, BH and Smash are not comparable. My goal is not lessen BH in any mean, the audience and expectation for these two games are just so different that this is bullshit to compare them. As much as I like BH, its community's still trash af, and that's what made me quit it a while ago after playing it quite a long time.

@@notkamui9749 I do agree that the games are different enough so that they shouldn't be compared, but if I were to recommend any platform fighter to a friend it would have to be brawl because of the fact that's it's literally free for pretty much anyone who is looking for a game to play. if smash was more accessible then I would definitely play it and possibly recommend it to friends but the fact that you have to pay for it AND a monthly subscription just to play online keeps me from doing so.

I like brawlhalla over smash, cause in brawlhalla, there isn't too much choice, and you can see how the character you are using will be at the time of selection( it shows stats and weapons) also in brawlhalla, you can get specific weapons you want. For eg I like using nux cause of asuri cause of her sword and mordox cause of his gloves. Now I can use val that uses both. Hence like you can get preety much all combinations for your play style

Lol my ulgrims axe deletes stocks within seconds, i can't even tell you how many people i made rage quit in experimental matches. Its to the point where i just crush their souls now. Delete first stock within 20 seconds, starts pouring salt to wake them up; then continues to delete second stock and start reading a book. At that point 90% of opponents will rage quit and send nasty hate mail ;) i love it. Plus I'm chilling at 2300 so no gold spammer will even land a hit Until someone better than me plays sythe and completely reads my movement somehow, then I rahe quit:) lmfao karma hurts

When it comes to scythe you have to always somehow make the enemy use their dodge in order to do strings. So you have to practice on reading your opponent and knowing different strings. Well for lance um...be passive xD

,my opinions and the subject of brawlhalla is better then smash ultimate I think smash is better because of more move verity side down neutral and up, ability to use as many specials in the air, and any character is unique to any other character with the exception of echo fighters and the diversity in the amount of characters. Another thing is all playstyles are expected and can be played around with most characters. And if you like a gimmick with a generic sword character you can pick cloud, who’s limit is a way to keep brain cells while playing a generic sword character. yes it is expensive but in my mind, if u have a switch, get smash ultimate

Tip use down light more on the ground it sets u up nicely for a sythe string and with mirage and Mordecai u can add a sig right after the down light plus it’s the longest ranged light attack for sythe
