The total field strength depends on the amps times the number of turns if you use large 10 amp wire you can only do so many turns let's say you managed 10 turns so you get the field strength of 10amp times 10 turns equals 100 field strength but if use small 1amp wire but put 100 turns the field strength will be the same at the 10 amp but only use 1 amp of power but longer wire the higher ohms an that needs higher volts but volts is a battery thing the lower amps you use the longer the motor can run before the battery dies

@@rilerson generally when I make a motor I use thin wires to get a higher field strength for each amp used and in generators I use thick wires to get the most amps. there's no point in making a 120v generator that only outputs .5 amps it's hard to combine them so each generator is best around 30 amps at 240volts at 60hz with a 120v center poll that way you can power just about anything in your house but I'm just making a huge and expensive solar panel the idea is normal solar panels drop in performance each year and is susceptible to gama rays like computers are and can be destroyed to easy I hate to spend 20k to haft to buy more in 20 years but water always boils at 100c and with enough power you can get free water from the air with 10 window units cool down your front yard and power you gas engines with hydrogen why not if power is free

I can't describe this project as a generator because it uses an electrically dependent motor as a source for running your what's called generator !!

He is just using a motor to test the generator. If you were to put it in anything else that spins fast enugh, it would generate electricity.

He means that Will you spin it will a engine or something like that it will generate Electricity motor is Just an example and this is inside a Wind Wheel

You may use anything that has enough rpm to generate power . I.e an Ic engine or a gas turbine

Just stumbled upon this video, but your comment from 2 years ago made me laugh. That's like saying a nuclear power plant isn't a generator because it uses steam powered by uranium as a source for running your what's called generator.

U broke apart a motor, reassembled it into a crappier motor, then call it a generator
