Fun fact: I was multitasking one of my first Thanksgiving dinners and I somehow put my hand like you did on the mixer and turned it on. I can confirm you definitely CAN break your fingers that way. Mine didn’t break but boy were they sore and bruised for quite awhile.

Hi ❤ so back home in Maine the whoopie pie is like our unofficial mascot 😂 so an easy way to make them is to just use a cake mix but add one extra cup of flour to make them into “cookies”. An then my gram usually uses buttercream frosting in a tin. I applaud you for making them from scratch though that stuff is hard af 😂😂 also I make the air horn noise every time after I watch your videos and my neighbors… well 😅 they love it they just don’t show it 😂😂😂😂

Baking Soda - needs acid to activate/rise (think buttermilk, vinegar, citrus, etc). Baking Powder - already includes acid so it just needs moisture and heat to activate/rise 😉

I love these videos! Your content is hilarious and makes me laugh every time. Watching you almost add three cups of powdered sugar!! haha! Also.. I think the bag of powdered sugar you had was 16oz (maybe 32), so when the recipe called for 16oz, you were probably supposed to add the whole bag (or half if it was 32). 8oz in 1 cup only applies to liquids. That's probably why the icing was so runny! Just incase you decide to do more of these! Also make it however you want! :)
