I wonder if there's a way you could combine paint and decals to solve the issue of certain colours not coming out well. Maybe if you're careful you could paint where the skin/eye shine needs to be and then apply the decal? Or perhaps you would be able to split the file into 2 decals, one for the base, then paint, then one for the detailing that will go on the paint? Regardless, this is a really clean result and looks great!

You should try making some updated versions of cairo marion and willies bridge outfit since those would just be on decaled on top of white pieces

Do you still need to spray the clear coat after applying the decal into the torso?

You can, but it's not 100% necessary

You can find all the figures using the mecabricks link in the description. Just export which one you want and it will give you a folder with all the files!

Do you have any tips on finding the right size for printing?

It's all trial and error. Photoshop, which is what I use for designs, has a ruler function but even then I had to do a ton of sizing test prints on normal paper.

Is there a way to change the skin tone on the minifigure renders?

No, you'd have to edit the texture

how do I get your designs without the background the Torso or whatever

They should be png's when you export them. Maybe there are some old ones that aren't but most of not all are png designs with no background

How did you download the prints from mecabricks ?

I had the files because I designed them. But for you, you can export the model and then extract the file. It will be in a folder for you

I use an HP inkjet printer
