When I get home I'm going to give Blue a different name and save it as a new instrument and see If that will work.

Dope! Very helpful tutorial. I'm having a different issue, I adjust the insert effects on kontakt for the Blue instrument and save the multi but whenever I reload that multi the insert effects for Blue go back to default & I have to adjust it again. It doesn't happen on other instruments. Any ideas how to resolve this?

tremayne gist I'm not sure why that would be happening. (I rarely use Multis.) The settings for insert effects should be saved when you save an instrument, but maybe when you save a Multi, it doesn't save effects for the individual instruments. Are you making these adjustments to the insert effects from the Blue interface, or are you going into the Kontakt internal editor?

Internal editor. All my settings on the Blue interface save fine. I do this with other instruments and don't have that issue so not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Can I just put notes on piano roll without recording it ?

Yes you can. The truth is that I'll play the parts live, but I invariably edit on the piano roll. So although it would take more time, I (or you) could skip the playing part and enter notes directly.

I saw that video yesterday. I don't mean the difference between Kontakt Version and Kontakt Player Version - I mean why some Kontakt Player version are more expensive than other ? Why is there a Kontakt Player Version which costs $419.95 and in the same time there is a Kontakt Player Version which is cheaper ? what is the difference between them? (between Kontakt Player versions, because that is what I have).

My DAW / Studio One artist 5 (just came out 2 months ago) don't recognize this as a plug-in so I can't edit midi signal like this. The manual has no explanation on MIDI...

No, portamento is not possible. Interesting idea, though, and we might be able to add a scripted partamento later.

If the Legato Vowel or Legato Phrase button is one, then just play notes with overlap.
