Bravo! Thank you Master Kimura for allowing a view of you at work. I love rock plantings and making some for spring planting, glad I am doing and using similar materials. It must be great to be around those trees, I'm sure the young disciples know they are surrounded by millions of dollars worth of nature/art/trees.

I haven’t seen this technique before! For rock plantings, usually depend on coral rocks available in the maintains nearby as my main source.

What kind of rock is that being cut in the first part? Is it a natural stone that's used for the main structure, or was is cast in concrete or something? Beautiful either way, thanks.

I just saw your work really fantastic here u are using real rock and carving but in one of your work it doesn't look real rock can you explain how to make such beautiful rock . Can we use thermocol for making rock because carving is not practical for everyone. I just subscribe your work
@kimurashomebonsai89317 жыл бұрын
Yash Sultania Thank you for watching. We use instant cement, water, black ink and cement adhesion. Mix them and apply on the rock.
@kimurashomebonsai89317 жыл бұрын
Yash Sultania I think thermocol is not good. But I will ask Master Kimura for you and reply later. (If you have facebook account, please follow us to get easily contact)

Is the rock seen at 1:16 and 7:20 the same ? If so, that is brilliant rock carving 👍 What is that black material you apply on rock and why ? At the end, why is red color being applied ?
@kimurashomebonsai89317 жыл бұрын
Apartment Bonsai by Vinny Chirayil the rock is not the same. But that’s not problem. Because all the rock will be made by the same method. So nothing different. The materials are cement, water and ink. Master Kimura wants to make it like a real rock, real place in the nature. Red powder is the same. It’s for make it like a real rock. Thank you so much for watching and your message.
