Very nice indeed Sim, you are making this look easy enough so that even idiots like me could give it a go. In fact when the Op Torch Group Build is over, I might just give this a go. Many thanks for sharing these videos with us Sim, they are very interesting and educational too. Have fun my friend, Joe

Very nice bags. And so easy to make! What I remember of these grain bags (100kg! How could I bear such a weight 45 years ago???) is that they were sewn at both ends but only on one side. Thanks for the good ideas.

I’ve used das clay too. I find it smells like chewing Tabacco, that’s my only complaint

Hi Simon, Just a quick question if I may please, may I ask how do you store your Das clay once you have opened it please... As with not seeing the tied end of a sandbag is it is normally tucked underneath itself, or the other way, is they have been sown shut... Many thanks... John...

Clingfilm your das clay and store it in the fridge it will last a long time in their . The tide end of sandbag Normally goes against a Another sandbag To prevent the time end From coming undone but it really does depend on how many bullets are flying over your head when you are building Many thanks Sim

Simon two quick questions. How are you removing the bases from the figures an getting them to stand without pining them? How do men in the trenches shoot with the height of the sandbags? The only solution I can come up with is to install gun ports for the snipers and leave the other areas low enough where the other infantry can climb on the firing boxes and shoot over them. Thanks Gene

Eugene Halder for me I take paper clips and cut off straits parts and heat it up over a candle and then stick it in the bottom of their boot The drill a hole in the diorama This works for me O and also if ur don’t like that then take a hand drill and drill into their feet and glue a toothpick in the bottom

Where have you seen sandbags with crimps all around the outside? Sandbags are sewn together then turned inside out so the seam is inside. Then filled with dirt/sand, etc.

Not true. Im a US Marine and believe me when I say, sandbags come in many different forms, shapes, sizes etc
