Jeff is the man! He’s done some wild stuff. I’d love to find more trails like that.

Thanks for coming back to check it out and glad to hear you have seen some improvement! We will try to keep more MTB videos coming and hopefully continue showing her progress.

Having walked my bike through Schooner quite a few times all I can say is Wow. Great riding. The video does the difficulty of that trail no justice.

Glad you can appreciate the difficulty! It is always a bummer to see it on video because it looks so much easier. Thanks for checking it out!

Someone had to since I couldn’t even climb a few pebbles, haha. She definitely seemed to be going faster than last time we were there and was more fun to follow than usual.

Glad you liked it and I am jealous of your local trails! Wish we had more time there but we will just have to go back.

Big fan of Brown county. I was there on a travel gig for a year. I rode the hell out of that system I’d like to go back one day

That's funny. I need to substitute your voice in my head for my completely unhinged voice in my head.

I’ve done that. Had him narrate while I was riding. Close as I’ll get to his level. LOL!

Have you ever ridden Crooked Creek just outside the park off of 10 O'clock Line? It is so good and technical and you can run both directions.
@PatSmage Жыл бұрын
I haven’t heard of that one but will look into it, thanks for the suggestion!

@Pat Smage it's all off camber log over punchy tech fun. Either ride to it from inside the state park or you can park at the bottom of the dam to ride it. If you go CW, you get to burn down the Hoosier Half Pipe. Going CCW, you get to climb it! 😉

Incredible climbs! Similar to how I do them in my dreams 🤣

Thanks! Haha maybe that’s the first step to making them happen.

Great riding! What tire pressure do you usually run? I saw you let some air out around the 13 min mark of the video. Understand there's a balance between traction and protecting the rim against rocks. Thanks!

Good question! I don’t have a good presta gauge so I usually go more by feel. I would guess I am usually in the low-mid 20s with an insert in the rear but I ran higher this ride since I was running a tube until I flatted. Probably 30 or more to start. I kept it high after the flat since I was in a hurry and didn’t want to mess with the insert. A few pounds can make a huge difference in grip, but I tend to start high to save the tire and rim. Time for a better pump/gauge so I can have a better answer and more consistency.
