I’m in Florida. Home is where I park it. Awesome! Make your own gasket! Now I know about goat heads! Went to the beach, it was very windy, was kneeling on the ground to block the wind so my propane stove could work. Felt a sharp pain in my knee, looked for the source and it was a goat head. Man do they hurt! They stuck to my beach shoes and sneakers. Tough little buggers.

My husband is from Tucson, AZ. I'm from Eugene, OR where we live. I have fun hearing stuff like the "goat heads" from you then asking him about them. I asked him if he knew what a AZ goat head was. His response " Pain that will make you see GOD!" LOL. I took a trip to AZ last year first plain trip for me at 38 yrs old. I fell in LOVE with AZ. I hate the cold and hate the rain. Yes that is the only life I have known being from OR. We would LOVE to build a bus but with work and kids we can't see the time to do so. We are hoping for either a Class A or a 5th wheel. We like the idea of a 5th wheel due to the amount of space BUT I worry with the boon docking safety. If something was to come up in a class A or bus you just jump in the drivers seat and get out. Class A or travel trailer you have to get out to get to the drivers seat to get to safety. I love love love how awesome you two did documenting your build. A little unfair will all the cool tools you already had on hand. LOL But still so super awesome!!! Love you guys and hope you have many many more amazing adventures.

Awww yes, the infamous goat heads. I live in north eastern Oregon and we have goat heads galore here. On our property the people before us took pains taking time to go around this 5 1/2 acres to take out all the goat head plants. But every once in a while we’ll see a plant start come up and it gets pulled up and take me to the burn barrel. Those things will ruin your day in a big hurry. Then we had a little plant that was called a sandbure and it started out looking like grass until the grass shoot would open up and little bures would come out of the grass shoot. Those were a lot of fun too. You get those in ya and kind a like a cactus it will puncture your skin and then the end would curl so it doesn’t come out. Peachy! Where was Mamacita? I didn’t see her.

In Florida, we call those “goat heads” sand spurs or stickers. I’m a native Floridian, currently transplanted in North Carolina. And as a construction professional I truly enjoy watching your build and the quality craftsmanship Mike demonstrated in everything he does.

Montréal, Quebec right now and we've been living in every capital city in Canada west of here over the last 27 years. You get to know a place after a few years. Used the screen stuff to replace the screen on the screen door. Few things are as satisfying as that. They look so good on Bussy! I've been reading up on used school buses and the various configurations. Listening to some of the guys talking about them, some are made for the mountains while others for the flat prairies. It's the engine and transmission pairing that makes the difference as the steep climes of the mountains both up and down are demanding. Overheating was an issue as well as the brakes on the downward run as you use them so much. There is an engine brake which makes a big difference but that's well out of my understanding. Just something to think about. Lastly, I guessed 27,000 but you know, the camera adds ten pounds to everything. lol

I haven't been in Maine, Vermont or New Hampshire since I moved west. The other 3 New England states, I've been in for the first time since moving, within the last 4 weeks. FYI, It seems the Colorado Springs area is popular with bus people. The Good News bus (the Good family on the Bus Life channel) spent an entire year in that area, in part because of the virus.
