I love adding fresh ingredients to soap! It's a good way to incorporate thier goodness without worrying about growing mould 😍 I like to keep my extracts for leave on products. By the way, I'm so in love with your botanical shampoo bar recipe, next time I'll be making your aloe vera shampoo, it might be my go-to shampoo bar recipe, exchanging extracts butters and oils from time to time to have fun! I have a question regarding your shampoo bar recipe, is it possible to add natural colours, like Henna powder or spinach powder? I heard that water won't fully evaporate from the shampoo bar, that's way I'm worried about mould, even when adding preservative.
@tellervo.2 ай бұрын
Me too🤗 glad you like the recipes! I think a small amount of a powder like that should be fine to add when using a preservative😊

Hello, I made 2% Essential oil (Sandalwood) Sandalwood soap. Its been 2 days since i made the soap. PH level was around 8-9 on the 2nd day. My eyes burnt today(3rd day) when i applied it to my face. Question - What was the reason of Eye burning/irritation? Was it the Sandalwood essential oil or incomplete curing. Thank you in advance. Love from India.
@tellervo.2 ай бұрын
Hello, I wouldn't recommend using uncured soap, especially on the face. But I think any soap would sting if you get it into your eyes, so definitely avoid that in the future🙂 hope you're okay!

Im from india, i have a doubt, the soaps im making getting soggy can u help me out, where did i make wrong
@tellervo.22 күн бұрын
You didn't necessarily do anything wrong🌷 If you live in a very humid environment you need a dehumidifier in the room where you cure and store your soaps. Unfortunately high humidity makes soap sweat, mainly because of the naturally occurring glycerin in handmade soaps.
@dr.mounikatallam62822 күн бұрын
