I have even seen other soap makers use the trimmings from the edges as confetti and other soaps, they hang onto them and save them. I’ve also seen them use soap, scraps, soften down to make soap dough for molding by hand, different shapes to put in the soaps.

For the waste, I think it’d be neat to cut into cubes and redo the process of adding a natural base/ or even a colored batter. Neat idea!

Hi Ariane, just a heads-up you should insert your company's name periodically in your videos, to avoid theft of your content. Someone I follow recently experienced content theft, her videos were stolen and used as the person's own. It's unfortunate that some people would stoop so low. Great job 👏🏾 continued success in your business

hi from Australia, you could use the thin slices as imbeds. they would look good in a charcoal base. I really enjoy your work. cheers Bronwyn

I make 25 to 30 lbs batches of soap and that is not enough slices to make embeds for such a large batch. Also, Canadian regulations make it difficult to rebatch soaps and be compliant to the cosmetic law..

There are literally hundreds of things you can do to put soap scraps back into a new bar of soap to make it beautiful but you’re right that is a lot of work for a lot of scrap but the bars are gorgeous hon

Here is Canada, regulations are not the same as in the USA so I cannot mix all my trimmings and off pieces and rebatch together as all my soaps have different formulas. We need to have all ingredients on label and also fill a Cosmetic Notification Form for each soap/cosmetic made to sell. When I bevel my soaps, I press the “confettis” right away using a 3D puck mold and make soaps for my personal use and for my employees. But rebatching chunks, I just don’t have time for this. 😅

I wonder what the pattern would be like if you twist the puller thing as you remove it from the mould xx

You can actually twist as you pull up! Belinda did show us this possibility during her speech at conference. But first timer I played safe 😅

Isaiah 1:18-19 THEN COME AND LET US JUDGE, SAYS THE LORD. IF YOUR SINS ARE AS SCARLET, I WILL TURN WHITE AS SNOW; IF THEY ARE RED AS PURPLE, I WILL TURN WHITE AS A WAVE. IF YOU WANT TO AND FEEL LIKE IT, YOU WILL TASTE THE BENEFITS OF THE EARTH.
