I highly suggest you get your teeth stuck into old school dubplate and uk soundsystem culture, they are the heaviest Influence on the UKG scene appart from garage which took its soul from early house in the early days of speed garage! There’s a very special festival in England called “boomtown” I grew up listening to the old school dubstep sounds of caspa and Rusko. I eventually got to see them play back to back in the shipping container stage there and it was absolutely insane I couldn’t believe how good dubstep sounded out of these bad boy systems ❤❤
