I’ll just use a 2 dollar tape instead instead of try to realign the whole door again.

It makes sense, but why'd you use such long pieces of tape? Did you reuse the pieces you cut off?

Yes. I did. I used it on the footing of the door as well. The door is a one piece fire door with an attached base as well. The curve from the extra pieces of the hinge was perfect for the edge on the base.

. A whole 2 dollar. Even with the door off you still need to tape the part where the two colors meet on the door to get a clean line. The door is two colors on both sides
