Just a quick note. Whenever you are grinding glass you are making silica dust. If you inhale it you risk getting Silicosis. Wear a goood mask and do it with wet sanders only and outdoors.

How would it work if you used the plastic grid support on top of the glass before you put concrete in? Would it stop the glass pieces moving when putting in the concrete ? Would it still stabilise it?

There would probably be voids in the piece when it was finished if the concrete didn’t seep through it completely

they make sifts for sizing stuff like sand or gravel theose can be used for sizing glass too , makes it eazy to sift out the fine glass you cannot use allso dont expect the glass to stay in plce when pooring the concrete over it unless you glue it to the form
