Outstanding job. So far, I think this is the best way to make chi ishi.

Nice build . I made 1 from an old olympic bar . I cut it uneven so one side is longer and heavier than the other . Its a pretty good workout .

Cool idea! Bet that is a pretty challenging workout, too.

Very nice. Do you make them to sell?
@brycebaker492 Жыл бұрын
Hey Jeff, thank you. I don't sell them because they are heavy and tough to ship.

Thats a really good container. What was stored in it before? cant really find anything similar
@brycebaker4923 жыл бұрын
That was an old container for a whey protein supplement. They come bigger than that too, if you are looking for more weight.

Do you have a certain length that you recommend cutting the dowel and what weight do you recommend it to be for a man?
@brycebaker4922 ай бұрын
It's completely up to the individual. Mine is about 1.75 ft long and around 25lbs. It is great for some lifts and a bit to light for others. Most people who use the regularly have several different weights.

@@brycebaker492 thanks for responding. I made one before based on the recommendation to measure from the tip of the middle finger to the bend of the elbow. A mistake I made was not using the wire. Because of no wire the stick has started to loosen. I am collecting different size containers so I can have different weights. I want to make some in pairs to use as a poor man's version of light Indian clubs (2 to 3 pounds).

How many kgs/lbs is this Bryce? Neat job btw...👍👍
@brycebaker4923 жыл бұрын
I don't know for sure. Feels like 12lbs when I compare it to one of my 15lb dumbells. I will probably go for a heavier one next time.

What is the strength of that drill and did mixing the mortar drain the battery?
@brycebaker4923 жыл бұрын
I used a Milwaukee 18v drill. It didn't drain the battery completely, but it used some energy for sure!

@@brycebaker492 thanks! I'll probably have to upgrade since what I have is probably going to die half way through. I appreciate the video and the response.
