My Dozier does flip out. I do really prefer the look of the Parrott over the Dozier. I'm really loving these videos Chuck, keep them coming.

Heck yeah, nice video. Interesting overview. I appreciate the battle. Im a dozier fanboy for life lol but the Parrot is for sure on my radar.

Yes!!! Somebody finally does it. 4 years later. This comparison is very accurate even today. The KaBar Dozier and QSP Parrot both come in D2 today but the Parrot still retains a lower price point. I love both but it's hard to keep recommending the KaBar since that QSP is still holding a $26 price in D2

I’m trying to decide which one I want to pair with my Leatherman. Which one should I get?

If you oil the action and flick your wrist you can very much open the dozier in a one hand motion. Just takes some practice to get used to.

I like both but I'd grab the QSP for EDC.

paddys potato peelers I think it’s a pretty nice budget folder, it’s not going to kick the 940 out of your pocket, but for the price it’s hard to beat.

Isn't qsp in d2 ? I know mine is but maybe they weren't a few years ago..I just looked all my qsp are in D2
I have the exact same dozier and it flips n clicks like butter with no mods or upgrades just the occasional spritz of tuf-glide and the way it flips can't help but make me smile thinking about all of the thousands of dollars (hundreds of thousands?) That the big knife cos. Put into both the research and testing of and the acquisition of materials and tooling (plus labor costs) for different variations of mechanisms and systems to help guide the knife open and close not to mention the threads upon threads upon threads of both heated debates as well as general consensus conversations on forums and message boards on bearings and washers and phospher bronze etc. Etc.. ...all the the while the couple decades old dozier does more or less the exact same thing on literally absolutely nothing. No washers or bearings or anything other than blade on handle. Albeit may not be the smoothest flipper out there, with very minimal maintenance and just a little bit of time to get a bit of a "lube layer" to build up on the inside where pivot is.

Slicey Dicey I still want to see your battle to the death, the compare for me was not the slaughter I was expecting, would love your take on it.

Shortcut Reviews It’ll be up next week. I already have it recorded and I have both versions of the dozier now. The thumb hole and the stud. I think I prefer the former.

The QSP compared to the Ruike L11 would make a good review too.

Finger groove, not a choil.

Pteronarcys californica yeap..... learned that later my KZbin review career. Choils are one the blade 👍
