Making the Ginger Jeans - Success or Fail

Hello and Welcome to today’s KZbin episode.
On today’s sewing adventure I am making a pair of Closet Core Ginger Jeans… but did they work out? And What was the process like for me. You will have to watch and see. I really hope you enjoy this clip.
It is a bit of a longer clip today because I show the construction of the fly in detail and it takes about 10 min. If you do not wish to see this process then please skip from 8.10 to 18.15 and then you will miss that section. Of course of that interests you then definitely watch along!
I did make these jeans with Aurifil threads that have been gifted to me as my role as an Aurifil Artisan, you will find details of this in the description below.

For construction I used 40/3wt in shade 2783
For topstitching I used 12wt in shade 5022
For under the top stitching I used 40/2wt in shade 5022
At the beginning of the clip I am wearing my - Paper Theory Patterns - Oyla Shirt - papertheorypat...
For the try on I am wearing a ready to wear top that I got in a second hand shop many years ago.
At the end of the clip I am wearing my True Bias - Nikko Top - truebias.com/p... and my crochet vest.
At the end for the Sashiko mending I used gifted Aurifil thread Floss and in shade white. I am aware this is not traditional Shashiko mending but I enjoyed the process and I love the outcome. There will definitely be more of this to share in the future.
