What you should do for the orange and black holo glitter is split it in half in another jar and add more clear acrylic and another scoop of the orange powder and that should help

Hey lovely, thank you for the vid. The embossing powder is used in paper crafts. You pour it over a sticky ink, then use a heat gun to melt the powder. It makes the ink glossy. It is essentially a fine plastic glitter that you melt xxx

I knew embossing powder from my stamping days. You'd sprinkle it over the wet ink, shake excess off and then use the heat gun to melt the powder. Pretty cool effects.

The difference between mica powder and pigment powder - all mica powder is shimmery because its made from natural stone so its safe to use on skin and things like that, pigment powders have no shimmer to them and are almost chalky in texture, they're also synthetic. Hope this helps! Xo

Hey I am curious what monomer you use. I had never done acrylics and bought both a 3 color set of acrylic powders on Amazon that is the Mia Secret brand and also the Mia Secret monomer. I got a Pana Kolinsky #8 acrylic brush to use as well. I know I need a lot of practice getting the powder/liquid ratio down. Any tips or suggestions? You really seem to have taken to acrylic naturally. You have done some awesome sets for sure. I just love watching your videos, they give me so much inspiration. Thank you so much! 🩷 😊

Awwww thank you!!! 🥰☺️🖤 also, I use Mia secret and also Kiara skyyy just depending on what I have on hand 😋 I would definitely watch a lot of videos on the ratio (or tik toks) I think a lot of those short tips helped me 😊 but againnn, it is tricky so don't be hard on yourself, it definitely just takes a while to get the feel of it. I don't even have it quite right yet 😅💜💜💜

@@AnneElizabethNails You’re so welcome!! And thank you so much for the advice! I do a lot of KZbin searches on acrylic application and I swear some of the nail artists make it look so easy. For some reason when I do glitter acrylics I get the ratio right every time but not so much when I do solid colors. I’m not sure why that is. I have found that some of the cheaper acrylic powders aren’t the best to work with, more specifically the two in ones that are designed to be used for either dip or acrylic. I have a ton of poly gel but I haven’t used any of them beyond swatches. I get busy doing other things and then I never get around to it because I end up messing around with the acrylic or making my own press on nails which I absolutely love doing. I get distracted easily lol 🤷‍♀️😆 Thanks again for the suggestions! 😊💖

​@@lynnbrink393dip powders are more finely milled I believe. I've bought cheap ones from TEMU that I use with a proper monomer. I haven't tried building with any but as a colour coat I have, in swatch sticks. I'll probably use them in that way and create my own press ons.
