Making the hardest version of Snake || Devlog

In this video I talk about how I made a version of the game Snake in Java, with a twist: your tail fades the more apples you collect, in addition to growing longer and getting faster.

This might be a bit over the top, but what if the game forced you to take the shortest path to the apple by forming the walls around the path. it would be like when the apple spawns in the corner but 100x worse every time. Also you are most certainly one of my favorite youtubers now, out of 126. I need to clear out my subscriptions.

Nice Snake game! A few months ago I also made a Snake clone in Java haha. What library are you using for graphics?

By the way I think the video would be smoother if you edited in some pictures as you talked and/or actually showed the programming progress instead of just explaining the final version. Not critisizing you, just giving advice :)

M. Pravin I think I basically added a new snake unit to the array, set its position to the position of the final unit, and then update the snake by setting all of their positions equal to the previous one in the array
