Making the Normandy SR2 - Mass Effect 3 - 3D Printed and Painted

Hello all. This is a 3D printed model of Normandy SR2, that i painted with the alliance colors. It was printed with Voxelab Aquilla X2 fdm printer. Painted with Vallejo acrylics and the decals were custom made and printed with my inkjet printer using water slide decal paper. File was found here : www.thingiverse.com/thing:4921765 Big thanks to the creator for sharing it.
The music at the video is from the original soundtrack of Mass Effect 3.

Great job. From printing, with few visible lines, to priming and finishing work, ending with a beautiful painting job. I'm a fan of the Mass Effect series, it's a shame that Bioware that offered us the original trilogy no longer exists.

The Mass Effect universe has always been a favourite of mine .after asking you where the file was from on the Facebook group I’ve since downloaded and sliced them to do my own , just waiting for other projects to be done first. Watching you paint it was my favourite part since that is what I’m worst at .

Thank you. The stand was found on a different model (don't remember which one) and i used blender to convert it, so it fits with this model.

Thank you. I printed them with water slide inkjet decal paper. After printing it needs a fixative sprey, otherwise the color desolved when you put them in water. Make sure to subscribe and take part in the giveaway. 😉
