Kentucky basketball piches itself. We were relevent in the 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s, 2010s, and will be relevant in the 2020s and beyond. We have 150 NBA draft picks, and even tho 50 were produced by Cal, that also means 100 were before Cal. We have had 4 coaches to win a national championship. Multiple hall of fame coaches. We are either the all time winningest program or 2nd most depending how you look at it. We have the most tournament appearances, wins, and winning percentage of all the programs. The most sweet 16s, elite 8s, 2nd or 3rd most final 4s, and 2nd most championships. Our games are always televised and sold out. Our fans hold everyone involved with the program in the highest regards. More so than any king or prince in history, including players, coaches, equipment managers, play by play announcers, ect.... The list goes on and on. Even if a player only plays one yr, they can come back 5, 10, 15, 20 yrs later and still be revered. Whether they were a star or a walk on. There's no place like My Old Kentucky Home. Period.
