"Making the world better with chemistry" - Inaugural Lecture on Green Chemistry by John Warner

"There are a lot of people who want to make the world a better place." says Prof. John Warner. "We chemists do chemistry. And we need to realize that the world needs chemistry. And if we can do chemistry better, we can address these issues."
"Chemistry is terrifying, it's scary, it's the monster under the bed!" - At least, that's what the public thinks about chemistry. We need to transform chemistry, make it more sustainable and less toxic. John Warner explains in his lecture how green chemistry, a more sustainable approach to chemistry, can be developed in each and every chemistry lab. We just need to do it!
