Truly phenomenal work! I really like that you re-purposed the leftover clay creations that you didn't end up using in your projects - talk about resourceful! And I like that you mentioned an often-overlooked aspect of any creation - the thought process! It's not necessarily something that can be overtly observed, but an important step nonetheless. The way the water in itself was created was awesome - not only did you add white to the clay for patterning, but you sliced and pieced together the watery clay for added randomness - it's extra steps like that which show the immense amount of care and detail that do into these designs of yours. And they're things that people might not be aware of otherwise, so I think it's great that you mention them - it definitely gives me an even greater appreciation for the time and effort that goes into these creations. Excellent editing and camera work here, as well - I'm sure it takes a great deal of careful planning and execution to have it all come together so smoothly, to coordinate it with the narration, and to adjust the speed of the footage, as well. Just really well done in all regards. Thanks for sharing! :D

Wouldn´t it have been nice if it had been made clearer that it is made of chocolate? For example with Yoshi being able to eat some bits here and there like he does with the red fruit on the bushes (are those tomatoes? I have always wondered, lol). I beat the game too, I always thought there had to be 100 stages and I was unable to find the last 4 ones, then, almost 20 years later, I learned there only are the 96 that I found (if I remember the number correctly).

Definitely adds more detail having the paths laid out. Also love how you have the castles and towers intact despite the paths laid out as they'd be destroyed by the time you reach the sunken ship after being defeated by Mario or Luigi. 8:09 I don't know if you got further in the game, but those levels with the rubble piles are underground levels. So I guess they're meant to be either cave entrances or holes in the ground or something like that. 10:42 I know what happened there, but not sure whether to say or not as I don't know how far you got since making this video.

The original manual had a clue "From Donut Plains onward, many course points are red. At these course points are hidden different goals and keyholes....". I never read the manual and instead spent hundreds of combined hours exploring every single level trying to find alternative paths, switch palaces, and star road access points. If I could go back and do it all over again...I would do it the exact same way. The game is a staple of my childhood and the fun times with my friends. Those memories make me smile.

The bowser cave instance looks terrifying, but still cool project 👍👍👍👍 Also the “POW blocks” are p switch palaces, and if a course is red means it has a secret exit while yellow ones are normal, And if it has blue around it it means it’s underwater (or has water in it) and the ones with dirt means it’s a cave level, also the “Castles” are actually fortresses (or mid-castles) and the “towers” are castles (but you can call ‘em towers too!), the hill with the bandage was hit, because Mario blew up the 4th castle into the sky and it ended up hitting the hill in the head I hope this helps you Also try making the star road, special world, the vanilla dome, and valley of bowser

I'm in a similar situation with Yoshi's Island: I'm finally able to play it after so long, but only because I got a controller to use with my SNES emulator, as I never got a SNES or SNES Classic and couldn't wait any longer. A wired Xbox controller works very well on PC and is cheaper than a wireless one. I can understand how difficult Super Mario World would be with only a keyboard (I actually played that one to the end already but with virtual console on my 3DS). Continue playing it if you havent beaten it, it's so good! And get it on virtual console or get a controller if you havent already!

Sick, dude. I'm in my 30s and grew up playing this game. This brought back a lot of great memories! Awesome job

If they remake Mario world they should use a claymation art style same for Earthbound
@Kerobyxclay3 жыл бұрын
I would love to see that!

I really enjoy the attention to detail and overall accurateness(?) to the in-game version. Forest of Illusion's full map was a pretty great addition, too. To call this a great job would be an understatement.

Duuuuude, this is amazing!!! It's super cool how you cut all the map parts so they're all to the same scale. Bowser's cave is definitely a focal point! Keep up the good work :)

Thanks man! I love the Bowser cave too!

if you haven't found out yet, if you're on windows, you can just plug in an xbox one, ps4, or even wired switch controler, and can use that in emulators. even steam games. just configure the controls after.

Love the Bowser's Cave. Also I respect how much work you put into the Forest of Illusion hand-crafting each tree.

-blue level with yellow dot is a underwater level. - there are yellow, green, red, and blue switch blocks, but the red one is in world 3 so you don't see it on overworld. - The levels with rubble piles are underground or cave levels. - keep playing the game and beat castle 4, you'll love what happened to that bush :D

One of my all time favorite games, it looks amazing! I loved the way you interpreted the stars as well, I always saw them laying down since you're able to step on them, but seeing them standing up is kinda cool as well! :D
