Great job!!! Straps on passenger side are legit. Driver doesn't want to be on the side of the truck that has traffic if the load has to be rechecked!

Let me know what you think of my pins next Friday. I will have a video testing the tie downs. I like the length of them to give me leverage.

Do you have template for these mate?
@digitrc2 жыл бұрын
No I do not have a template for them. They were kind of a “one off” since it was using material I had laying around. But they are working fantastic and I can put a lot of tension on the tie down with this setup.
@dionhutchins73002 жыл бұрын
@@digitrc ok well Thankyou I’ll try to replicate them. They looked and worked awesome cheers

@@dionhutchins7300 the clevises are for rc planes and can be found on most rc web sites. The ribbon was from Amazon. The metal pieces were scrap from my Tamiya kit. The u shaped metal is closet shelving material I had left over.

True that. The only guys I know around me are just into bashing or high speed cars. Not my jam. I love the trucks and rc construction. Thanks for the feedback too. I appreciate it.

@@bannanapancake I’ve found guys that are into it but not into it. As in they like it but won’t invest in equipment. I’ll keep looking.

@@digitrc - I hear ya, I just dropped 8000k on a set up.. it’s definitely an investment. If your ever in Utah (🤔) drop me a line, be happy to move some material with you or anyone;)
