Another tip I’ve come across in my own venture for making these cones….. I’m a leather worker so naturally I have a rawhide mallet and a quartz slab for tooling on. I actually use the mallet to help form the cone over the edge of my quarts slab. Once I get the edges started (which is the hardest part in my humble opinion) I then switch to a pair of rounding pliers used for jewelry. It makes the process quite a bit easier! Also, for my tin, I use the bottoms of baby formula cans. I have two daughters under 3 so no shortage of unused tin for me! Hopefully this helps someone! Awesome video as always sir! If you go to the hardware store and get a metal sign or two, if you use the bare metal side out you won't see the inside with the hair in place. A metal sign at the hardware is only a couple of dollars and you can probably get a lot of cones out of one.
