Helping them get away from the monsters. That's my theory.

This guy could literally have a good story for little nightmares. He collects the bodies from crimes scenes and keeps them I'm tact in his ice cream truck. He takes the bodies to a butcher, which cuts the bodies up and serves the meat to the chef. Which as we know. The chefs cook alot of meat in the first little nightmares.

I may think he is related to the Janitor by blood that they are close and his obsession for collecting bodies and evidences it like his mental problem on cleaning up stuff asap that he is embarrassed to let people see him cleaning up and when someone actually sees him, he overreacts and kills the person so that he thinks that the dead person think it would spread that there were a place where there is trash and not presentable.

oh, and whenever you get close you start to get really cold, like as slow as you would be when your hungry, because hes so cold it makes you feel freezing, and it slows you down. when you see im, no only does he vanish, but he also freezes your right leg, and it keeps freezing ovcer your body. this makes it so you have to find a torch (an item you could find on a wall or table) to melt the ice away.

Mono is the Thin Man, we know that, so due to some magic powers or some shit (because everything goes trippy when Mono needs to go into a TV) he draws Mono to his door to free himself and then he takes Six away saying "Dis Bich gonna betray you, don't work with her". Of course, Mono works with her glitched remains and so the Thin Man attacks Mono to deliver him to the signal Tower and make him never save the world.

i feel like this dudes story in little nightmares would be like he cleans up bodies in the Pale City like deaths from the viewers from fights breaking out over tv's, or veiwers falling off of building, things like that then he puts the bodies into the ice cream truck so he can ship the bodies to The Maw for The Lady to eat and the first encounter Mono and Six would have with him would be stumbling upon his parked truck where they hop onto the back without The Ice Cream Man noticing as he drags bodies to his truck and stuffs them into freezers He eventually gets into his truck and drives to an ice cream parlor where Mono and Six watch him as he drags a freezer slowly into the building before they follow after him shortly after he goes in

I like the idea of having the Ice Cream Man be a child-hunter of sorts. There are A LOT of adults in Little Nightmares, but none of them are particularly good at catching kids.... But this guy? He's an expert at luring kids to him instead of outright chasing them (fits in with the whole ice-cream van trope). When you hear the sound of his van, you're not compelled to go outside like you normally would... It's a warning to say that you've already lost all hope at escape.

Since this is a video about creating a little nightmares character in the replies of this comment we could share our own ideas? I really enjoy hearing idea for little nightmares characters. I actually thought of once called 'The Pet Keeper' he has a little shop filled with cages scattered everywhere and a hidden room under an old grey rug. The entire place is made of wood except for the cages and rug. Under the rug is a dirt labyrinth with highly deformed rats. They are big with yellow teeth and a green acidic drool that desolves every living thing it touches. They consume anything they see, including fellow rats. Their numbers decrease quickly due to 0 reproduction. The first room has a dusty old bed where The Pet Keeper sleeps (but he's not currently in it) and underneath it is a cat. The cat has a venomous bite and is bright orange. It's face is pretty flat and the fur on it is missing in places and very gross. It's neck is elongated beyond normality and it never leaves the room. There's a hole that leads to the second room and in this room The Pet Keeper is playing with severed animal parts on a table and stitching them into one gruesome creature. He puts it in the freezer and turns around to show his face and general appearance. He has no ears and his eyes are bloodshot facing opposite directions. The skin on his left cheek is melted revealing bone. His also abnormally long right arm has the lower half of it's skin missing, only bone the rest of the way down. His nose is flat and his left arm is considerably shorter than the right and he has a green old leash and collar in his pocket. The pocket is located on his dark blue shirt which appears to have blood stains. His pants are white and he wears a small light pink hat. His head is tilted up slightly to the ceiling and he walks in a zombie like motion. His short fingers have needles growing out of the tips. After he leaves the player has to hide in the freezer because he returns soon. Upon discovering the creature inside you can see bits of flesh similiar to The Pet Keeper's and that shows he took of his own skin to make some of these creations. As you proceed through the room the rats are a reoccurring problem but so is a huge snake. Upon running from this snake seven more appear and they are ENOURMOUS, yet somehow are able to go very fast and squeeze through small spaces. After the head of the last one is cut off with a big pair of scissors. The thing earlier from the freezer chases you and the scissors snap trying to cut it. You trap it in one of the cages and flee the shop, that is the end of encounters with him. I have noticeably described the general gameplay that would be done if he was real as well hope it was interesting!

I am already imagining his location, him hacking the flesh of his victims, grinding them and putting some cover on it so it will look like ice cream but smells like a dead person. His location which I m imagining rn is the ice cream van which has a kitchen inside and you will find him there just jacking someone's flesh, and suddenly chasing you because he heard you trying to get out. He will have a kitchen knife so he can stab you and hack you after he gets you running away from him. (gets a reminder not to think of dark things bit can't help thinking about those stuff.)

Do you know the collection of horror short stories for children "In a Dark, Dark Room" (1984) by Alvin Schwartz? A lot of us millennials grew up with it, notably the story of Jenny and the Green Ribbon- she takes it off on her deathbed and her head falls off. But this dude with the teeth you've made reminds me a lot of the scary guys in the story "The Teeth"!!

I made an original character as well it is the Electrician. He is a morbidity obese man who you would encounter in the vents. He is very aggressive and you will see him making different electronic creations. I even thought of an animation where he shocks himself, screams, and waves his hand. I made a drawing of him as well

The ice cream is probably the most different character compare to the other horrors in little nightmares. Most are just droopy looking and so many wrinkly folds.

I actually have 2 character ideas! They're for LN1 and LN2 respectively. (I am open to constructive criticism for both of these characters) Gerald: The new janitor at the maw, Gerald is incredibly tall and lanky, complete with 2-fingered hands that reach past his feet. He also has a missing eye and some strange tears on his mouth. He wears a top hat and classic janitor attire, including a nametag. This may sound strange, but he's actually friendly! He never eats children, or any other meat for that matter, which gets him ridiculed for being a "vegetarian". Probably one of the friendliest giants in the maw. The Artist: At the pale city, there is a special artist who is known for creating lifelike sculptures. This artist has some crazy long fingers and spider appendages everywhere. One thing he is NOT known for, however, is talking. He keeps his mouth sewn shut because of his incredibly long tongue. However, he won't hesitate to rip his mouth open when he becomes feral. His sculptures and paintings are beautiful, too, looking like they could almost move on their own! And sometimes...they do...

Hello Ace Of Clay, if he was a hostile enemy, his killing animation would be freezing you in the freezer of impaling via fingers. If he is killed it would be a car crash or freezing, if he had a map to the player to be chased in it would be a gigantic playground. Hope your reading this, thank you for your time.

I feel like the noise he would make when he's near you would sound like teeth chattering from the cold, and I think it would make sense for him to be inside of a giant ice cream factory. For his death I feel it would only be fitting to give him a taste of his own medicine, or in this case, ice cream by dropping him into a vat of ice cream.

The holes in his skin just make me itch. Definitely one of my favorite pieces of yours. For some reason, he doesn't seem like an evil person. Maybe he just helps out people who kill people who deserve to be killed. Hence why the murders aren't able to be solved. There's always those cases where people who are the worst of the worst that are killed, and their murders are never solved. Good old Ice Cream Man to the rescue!!!

An idea I had: A librarian character who crawls along the walls with hooked claws and follows six around a library near the lady's residence, as she has a lot of books in her part of the game. Six would have to hide inside of shelves as he reaches for her with his claws. Eventually six finds a hatch to a vent, but when she opens it it squeals. She then has to run through the vents as the librarian squirms after her. Eventually she reaches a dead end and is caught by the librarian and the screen goes black. Six wakes up in a bed, the librarian reading through books that you can see the names of. They are all about caring for an injured child. Six is too scared to realise what the books say and runs off, but the librarian wants her to stay and rest. Six climbs up a large shelf of books and as the librarian climbs after her a very large book falls on top of his fingers, stopping him from climbing for a while. Once six is at the top, the librarian is quite far down from her but has got the book of his hand. Six sees two large glass bottles of ink hand shove one of the shelf. It smashes over the librarians head and knocks him of the shelf, hurting him extremely. As he gets back up to climb up again, six pushes the second bottle on top of him, and he dies. Six then returns to the room and the camera moves to the shelf, revealing that the books where about caring for the children. Six pushed open a metal door and carries on.

Whoa, he has cleft hands, it's called Ectrodactyly. I like the backstory made for him being a Fixer and Cleanup disguised as an ice cream parlor, very Noir/Sin City, though personally, I would expect the paranormal slant to be upped to fit into the Little Nightmares world. I think you should revisit the Ice Cream Man with more backstory. Try the carnival freak route, since he has the same condition as the RL Freakshow killer, Grady "Lobster Boy" Stiles.

I have a theory not only about the Ice Cream man but of the lore for Little Nightmares. At the end of Little Nightmares 2, it was revealed that there was some sort of Eldritch terror that was causing all the problems. My theory is that it grants people's wishes and desires but in a monkey paw sort of way. The Lady wanted to remain forever beautiful so it gave her the power to suck life. The guests wanted to feast forever so it turned them into gluttons. The Doctor wanted to discover life to save his patients but could only create twisted life. The Teacher wanted a perfect school. Six wanted to be safe so it created a distorted world for her to remain isolated in. As a child, the Ice Cream man witnessed a horrific tragedy that scarred him for life. He tried to move on with his life and block it out which is why he became an Ice Cream man in order to make the world and himself seem like a better place. The Flesh walls distorted this view creating someone that has to get rid of corpses in order to "cleanse" the world and fulfill his delusion that murders never happen and the world is all smilies and ice cream.
