That was the smoothest flip I've ever see from the mould to the couching sheet

To change the thickness of a portion paper makes the light through it differently, then we can see the different brightness on the paper. I have known the production principle of the watermark, but I haven’t seen how to make it in reality. Thinks for your sharing.

Thank you for the demonstration! Does the mould and deckle have a nylon mesh screen? Is a design sewn into the screen with copper wire?
@mariannakanellopoulou83415 жыл бұрын
Sorry for my late response. Both the mould and the deckle have a stainless wire screen. The design of the watermark is made of a thinner stainless wire and yes it is sewn into the screen.

Sir plz give ur whatsapp no,wants to ask many questions regarding watermark,and secondly what materials is required to create watermarks
@slimnics5 жыл бұрын
Hello, this doesn’t really show how the watermark was done. it shows how paper was made.
@mariannakanellopoulou83415 жыл бұрын
This happens because making watermarks is part of the paper making process. I am sorry if it wasn’t interpretative enough.
