I lived in the Philippines for three years. A bottle jack with hooks welded to both ends will quitely spread those bars apart far enough for a small adult or child to pass through and enter the building and unlock the door.

Good idea, now all you need to do is connect it up to the nearest lampost (they work on 440V), that should prevent anyone from trying to get in when you don't want them to.

I've never heard of quick release bars or insurance companies asking for them - maybe it depends what area you are in?

@@jmakes3745 Actually, it is a law that requires people can easily escape from fire. A quick-release mechanism should be activated easily to get out of a window even by a five-year-old or old people without using any tools.

Those screws are too small. Those can be drilled out
