Hi Bob, 100% get the detail, strength and technical aspects of the joints etc. Did you cinsider 45 deg joints using dowels or biscuits possibly reinforced with resin bond? quick very strong, but maybe out there!. I hear the traditionalists saying joints are better etc but thet build ocean boats using resin and similar joints. I might have been tempted for simplicity purposes to have used 45 deg slotted and dowelled corners backed up with resin bond. In no way does this comment detract from what you have shown and the work round skills involved, just trying to offer ease of effort ideas. Love the channel.

Was thinking of doing that for the window frames, 45 degree joints reinforced with splines. Gorilla Glue is amazing stuff but not easy to find here.

Ah, another IT guy doing woodwork. ONE OF US. There is a splitter that goes behind the blade on the table saw that prevents kickback. I see your lower gut and groin right in line with kickback direction... would suggest you install that guard. Have a look at what can happen if you get hit.... not pretty.

Yep - that saw is a relic, older than a Sinclair Z80 & either never had a riving knife or was lost over the decades. I need to make one.
