I find the key to making a convincing industrial park is to space the buildings out just a tiny bit. Something like 1 or 2 tiles of green spaace, generally with lines of spruce trees and bushes so it looks manmade and manicured. If you're using small buildings, like the vid says, group them together to make it look like 1 complex owned by a single business. Most of the industrial parks near me are warehouses or factories built inside of warehouses, so zoning specifically for those types over smokestacks helps a lot. Smokestacks look best near old town, rivers and harbors, I think. I use lots of alleyways to make "Offshoots" to zone buildings on and always keep the main roads clear. In a large industrial park, instead of normal roads, for collectors I always use the combined 2 lanes each way highways, something about it it just looks right when it's lined with trees. Also, sprinkle in offices generously. Office buildings look great in industrial parks, generate tons of revenue (if you have the education), and they keep the pollution low.

I think it’s to discourage plotting acres of industrial in one spot. I get better results when I make lots of smaller spots of industry. It also keeps the pollution down. It also keeps from having tons of traffic clogging a massive industrial complex.

i work in a fairly large Ind Estate in the NORTH, and the place is full of greenery, trees, and hedges, especially that surround every factory and even the shops

there is a bug or a thing like that with the money, i saw a video from a youtube channel named 'ImKibitz' and in the beginning of the video, he has 2 billion money but it looks like the money has a maximum number limit which is 2 billion so it might be something to fix

please fix land value. I found that my dedicated industrial zone becoming empty as the company cannot keep up with the cost and cant grow new industry either due to land value issue

Why are the industrial land values so crazy high in this game? My industrial area is the most polluted yet most expensive land value in the city, no new industry will spawn on it.

Please let us select and hand place all the zonable buildings instead of the random zoning that doesn't always look great. For example let us hand place the gas stations where they look best. Please also add some none polluting industry that we can integrate within our towns like it is in real life.

This can be achieved in Developer Mode, but just be mindful about how it's used (so you don't break your save). You can find simple guides on activating Developer Mode on KZbin or a written guide on the CS2 wiki.

It's always annoying when there is 5 gas stations on that scenic pier with pedestrian roads (so not even cars allowed) out to the ocean in the most pleasant part of town 😂

How are you able to run the game? My pc which has intel i9 and rtx 4060 struggles to run it. I'm only getting 20 FPS. 😢 Hope you optimize the game.

how large is your city? Have you updated recently? They've released many optimization patches since launch and for the most part the game is in a completely playable state. It runs completely stably on my 3080, maybe make some graphic adjustments?

You can also look for setting guides here on KZbin. The default graphic settings are not really ideal to get the best look to performance ratio.

@@its-me_577 5k isn't big at all. People are pushing 150k before seeing sim slowdown. Honestly 4060 not running 5k population seems like a you problem and not the games fault at this point. Maybe a clean install?
