Patience is the key, cement work takes time I sculpt with cement too its not 123 instant.

@@DOI_ARTS that’s true! I work with FRP and was playing around with cement and I don’t have patience for it. Fiberglass I can control a lot better.

Great job. I have an idea for anyone who wants to recreate this: Hook up a raspberry-pi or Arduino to control the LED's so that you can synchronize the lights with the phases of the moon in real time.

For everyone to know i did this today. Moon took me 20/30 minutes to do and it is very nice, just like the video. It was my first attempt. I really thanks this guy for sharing his idea.

Hi, i did not use cement but plaser glueyou can do it with waterver you want. my planet is white but i can paint it after if i want. I can do a picture if you want. @@Х.Б-з7р

I seen this video a while back and created one using mdf fiber board, green stuff (puddy for table top miniature gaming), painted the moon and use rbg lighting covered by wax baking paper (to dim down the light hot spots). This man is very talented and has a great mind for masonry.

Great work! It would be awesome if you had addressable LEDs, so that you could programm an arduino or raspi and activate them only partially. Then you could imitate the lunar cycle and even sync it with the real one.

Looks great! I wonder what the water to concrete ratio is with this. Also, how large is the largest grain of the sand/silt you use to create your concrete? To achieve this consistency it's gotta be 1mm or smaller, right?

I just attempted a small version of this, took a few try’s but it turned out great. *(Start small and get the quick drying grout it works a little better. I will need more practice to do on a bigger scale like this but thanks for the video.
