Making your own shock (or fork) o-ring for a mountain bike (MTB)

Gster could not find the color o-ring that he wanted for his mountain bike, so he made his own using a rubber band.

How would you get them on forks?

Thank you for watching my video and for commenting. To get them onto a fork which is fully assembled, I would wrap the rubber band around the fork stanchion and then press together the 2 ends which have the rubber cement on them. In other words, the rubber band is re-connected when it is on the fork stanchion. I hope this helps. Also, apologies for the poor quality of the video. I made it when I was just getting started. I plan to do the video, and in that video I will most likely show it being attached to an assembled fork. Thanks again.
