I just purchased this system about 3 weeks ago. It is fantastic! I am using the first album that i made to keep track of household budget & expenses. I is so easy to move around different pages, add them in, etc. For the dividers, For sturderier dividers, I folded over a piece of packaging tape along the side where holes were to be punched -prior to punching holes. Great video. :)

I love the system - bought it about a year ago with the calendar - this year's is much better. I have been indexing my stamp pads, punches, dies, and stamps in it - need a new set of large disks to sllit out the index! I find I do need stiff covers to keep the larger disks from falling off in use. Love it!

THIS VIDEO IS BLOWING MY MIND! *Laughs!* Sorry for the CAPS, but honestly I'm so excited about this binding system! And, if that weren't enough, Lind'a going to show us how to make our own customizable sheet protectors using existing 8 x 11 document protectors?! I AM SO EXCITED RIGHT NOW LIKE WHOA! :)

Thanks Kim! I actually found an online scrapbooking store - Marcos Paper - that has some leftover stock of rollabind discs at a great price. Owner was SUPER nice and helpful, so I am stocked up with a few different sizes and colors now! :)

Levenger has made these types of journals & binder systems for years. They offer lots of varieties of rings in lots more colors & sizes then Staples/Rollabind as well as two sizes of cutters. I have interchanged them though I prefer the cut and rings of Levengers. I have made all kinds of sizes of books and journals using the disc system. All the benefits of 3-ring binders and bound books combined!

Thanks for the great question. I trimmed off the three ring holes before punching it. Hope this helps! If there is enough room to trim the three ring holes from the phone/address paper...it should work.

I have this myself, love it. Just a word of warning - Rollabind has a lot of negative feedback on facebook looks like they are cashing cheques but not sending the orders - I ordered Myndology disks instead. I wish Staples would sell the 3/4" rings, and coloured rings.

I just bough this system at Staples after seeing your video demonstration and I was very excited about it! I was getting ready to order the smaller discs from the rollabind website but then I found their Facebook page...and they don't look very trustworthy. Do you think buttons might work in place of the discs?

I love the disk bound planner notebooks but have a question. When printing pages from the web what paper is used? I woiuld think regular copy paper would be too flimsy. What suggestion would you use?

I don't understand how notebook paper can be used because what happens to the notebook paper original 3 ring holes. Do they just blend in after you use the arc punch? Or does notebook paper come without the 3 ring holes? Did you use lined notepad paper? I would love to be able to have a phone/address section that they sell in the agenda book section of the store but they have ring holes to go into a notebook. Would I be able to use this with the arc punch so I can put it into the arc notebook?

Luv this video. Best smash book I've seen in a while. But i dont quite understand where you got the paper? I can't discern what you say at 2:22 and this is what the transcript says, "..i have a a lot of scrap left from the guy connects with a view blackhawk pilot.." What??!! LOL Any recommends for beautiful foil paper like you used? I'm checking wallpapers, but so far, no luck. Your book is gorge. :-)

I have ordered the discs from Rollabind on May and they shipped some that I didn't order. Here it is in July and no word on when my original order will be filled. I have emailed and called and gotten no response so far. Do you have any suggestions that might speed up the process??
