Rockstar could so easily make the ruiner good. All it needs is more missile capacity, slightly more armor, and a lock on jammer. It’s already packed with neat little features but it completely misses on the things that make a viable vehicle

I got the Ruiner on Black Friday and I feel like most people who got it did so because of the same reason I did. They're 35-50, collecting TV and movie cars, and it's KITT from Knight Rider. It's the same reason I'm buying the Stromberg when it goes on Sale... it's a Bond vehicle. Named after a Bond Villian from the same movie the car is from. And my head cannon says From Russia With Love is in the same continuity with Silver Streak.

These days the biggest threat from other players seems to be modders ruining whole lobbies all at the same time. That may be because of the missile lock on jammers etc that have been added to cars and the fact you can do most deliveries in invite-only sessions means getting shot is a personal choice now.

The Torreador's ability to jump into the water is an incredible defensive and escape move that is unmatched considering it's speed. Great Vehicle

Yesterday I requested my personal Ruiner 2000. A rival CEO started Headhunter. I wasnt defending the target but the rival was shooting his oppressor missles at me. I expected to die. But I survived, he shot at least 10 missiles before giving up. I had limited missiles and machone gun bumper. It was weird.

It would be cool (but it's Rockstar so they won't do it) if they buffed the Ruiner, along with the other old vehicles, as some of them like the rocket car have really become kinda useless as there are newer versions that do it better for only a bit more money. It would be cool if they gave the Ruiner a lot of armor/bulletproof windows (like in the series) as the attack ability of the Ruiner is quite limited with the 8 missles anyway, so it could be a very defensive car

The Toreador doesn't share the same missiles as the Ruiner 2000 and Deluxo it shares the same missiles as the Stromberg. The Deluxo and Ruiner 2000 have way more accurate and overpowered missiles, the Deluxo has the second best missiles in the game while the Ruiner 2000 has the best missiles in the game out of anything in the game that has missiles.

yeah the deluxo tier missiles (scramjet, vigilante, deluxo) are slightly worse than the ruined missiles, and the subcar missiles are slightly worse than the deluxo tier, because they have slightly worse tracking and half the range

Start up head hunter then use your Toredor to clean out the lobby. This allows you to blow up other player’s vehicles without getting bad sport or having to pay for the vehicle.

The toreador definitely does NOT have the same missiles as the ruiner . Toreador does have great, top tier missile tracking tho,; but ruiner and vigilante have god aim tracking missiles

Most definitely agree! but theres just something about using, particularly, the fully loaded ruiner against oppressor mk2 griefers if only for 20 mins, you can do a lot of damage in 20 mins. Fully loaded ruiner VS the Torreador??? ''Forget about it''!!! Just think about it! 20 mins of fully loaded ruiner battling any other land vehicle, thee opponent will risk multiple vehicles being destroyed before they get a chance of taking out 1 fully loaded ruiner, also, at the same time, having the ability to take out a crew of oppressor mk2's. Thats 20 mins of pure mayhem. 😆

You don’t have the despawn it you can put into your avenger make sure you have the weapon and car workshop it will replenish your rockets

This gimmick is old and not even effective for griefing. The price tag was too steep for what you got. Most griefers are on MK2, Deluxo, or Raiju nowadays. Ruiner 2000 griefing is not a thing

I play invite only, so I don't have any particular use for an expensive high tech missile carrying vehicle. NPC's don't use explosives so my armoured Kuruma or Duke O' Death are all I need.

The Reason the Ruiner 2000 was so expensive was because of its Precise Missiles and GTA wanted to Commemorate “The Hoff”- If you don’t Respect THE HOFF You don’t respect yourself. He’s Chuck Norris Clone. Men want to be David Hasslehoff and The Ladies want to be On the Hoff. No but all jokes aside That was huge back in the day for the Vehicle to have Lock on Oh So Precise Missile Capability. If the Ruiner locks on to something, very much like the Deluxo n Toreador, it’s a done deal….but I’d say a smidge better. But The Ideal Most Practical Logical Vehicles are of course the deluxo and toreador cuz their Missiles are Accurate and Nasty N They Both Share in All around perks needed in FreeMode. Boost down highway w/ cops in front and as ur boosting pass shoot a locked on missile and you’ll see the damn thing Boomerang backwards behind u and smoke the cop car….No Getting Away from Toreddor lock on - (Toreador ALSO serves as an extension to ur submarine as it has Sonar Capbility and allows you to find All (10) Cache Treasure Chests throughout the Map which Renew every single day, press down on the right joystick, and keep doing it till it beeps consecutively in a pattern and you’ll see the Boxes start popping up blinking on your Map - Then Open Up Map and Press Y 4 marking each one as a Point of Interest and go gather anytime that day, some days they’ll spawn all 10 in 1 Area of the Map and whoever is in ur ceo AND in the Submarine Toreador while grabbing those Boxes (Ea Box=$7500) - Everyone in Car Gets $7500 for All the Cache Boxes and it’s actually kinda fun, it’s an adventure with the boys! Toreador in the water is So Much Fun, I’ve been in So Many battles sinking Ppls Subs, or Fighting Mk2s from the bottom of the ocean floor lol You will get locked onto but as long as ur buried under the waters surface at least about the length of the car or deeper to not get affected by the missiles - they can’t connect to you cause they hit the water and lose all momentum…. *Another GTA 5 ONLINE TIP / TRICK is The Toreador can Boost FOREVER, If you Can Angle it right or Straight Up Out of Water and Boost up out of the water the Boosters will continuously Recharge from then on out and you’ll boost across the entire map up in the clouds n eventually glitch out-but ya have to hit the right angle or Pitch which is Nose pointed Straight up and Boost Out of Water it’ll recharge…it has to do with the Angle/Physics of Any Vehicle being in the air and it’s positioned correctly the Boosters will recharge. I have a clip of me doing it and eventually went out of the Map - This also Is the Same Concept for “Shunt-Boosting” With Arena War Vehicles and when u jump and shunt boost to the right or left if u angle the car the right way you can shunt boost forever-There’s a popular GTA KZbinr who explains this In detail and how u have to position the arena war car in order for the boost to start recharging forever while in mid air. Best vehicles to practice is 380Z, Bruiser, and The Brutus as they’re easier to control once u jump and u can roll one way and Shunt Hop” the Opposite way… Some more content for you. And to the ruiners defense it’s just a Perk to have cause ur arsenal + make money and run activities w/ ppl in ur ceo-It’s an objective for gamers to go do which IS SOMETHING THAT IS LACKING IN GTA 5 ONLINE - It’s stemmed from Zero Efforts from Rockstar to Inspire Multiplayer Co-Op Style Gaming, Ya know Crews have always been an important aspect of old popular games because it gives u a sense of camaraderie w/ other ppl, it forces u to be social and not a recluse or a Loner which is What Every Online Lobby is - (30) Solo Players Itching to Pull the Trigger on Everyone Passerby Onlooker Because it’s A Game subconsciously Focused on Creating Toxic Environments for the Lack of Structure, Principles, their Punishment system is so backwards it doesn’t even make sense…. friends can go take care of taargets while ur in The Beast Ruiner 2000 taking care of some Mk2 Griefer and They can see the targets as long as someone is in the VIP Ruiner 2000.

The Ruiner and most of the so-called armored vehicles in the game are a joke. Anyone with an endless supply of rockets can make short order of you. Hell, they can simply use any firearm and blast you through the windows. What is even more insulting is the Ruiner is basically supposed to be the Knight 2000 from Knight Rider. I get why Rockstar did not want to make the Ruiner invincible however they could have made it stronger than it is. Honestly a waste of in game money. Outside of the VIP mission the Ruiner has no value. It's no stronger than the Duke O' Death.
