I see and feel your unexplained joy cruising the lake in a house..Province life is really cool. I permanently moved to Labason, Zamboanga del Norte in Mindanao from over 60 years living in the city after retirement from government service. When covid-19 pandemic set in, our place is still covid-free to date.

People that are telling you that you cannot enter Metro Manila starting March 22 are uninformed. You can still enter NCR anytime because you are only in Laguna which has the same quarantine classification as Metro Manila so movement between those areas are not prohibited. What you cannot do for example is enter Quezon or Batangas from Laguna. Hope this helps.

What an amazing experience you had, Mike & Nelly! I’ve been in Lake Caliraya in the late 70s when our office had our annual outing..no overnight..just day tour..i experienced the bamboo raft, no house boat yet at that time!

fun fact: the caliraya lake is man made. and we used to come there for our school trip "high school retreat". they have other recreation activities you can try with george and lucy. I'm not sure what are the available activities now.

Thats a beautiful lake....did you know that water from that lake comes from laguna de bay being pumped up to that mountain lake...and the same water that powers the hydoelectric power plant in laguna. Back in high school up to college I used to go there yearly with family and other relatives on vacation....caliraya is one of the best high end lake resort destinations that many not know about.
