I have this exact blower, and for 18V, I think it's a beast. Can't really tell a difference between my old gas blower, and it's plenty of power for clearing my driveway from leaves. And yes, it can handle wet big leaves pretty well.

i have gravel garden borders as i got tired of weeding, i think it looks nice however all the fallen leaves and flower petals make it look messy. would this blower blow all the stones? or if i was careful enough could i skim the leaves off the stones without blowing the stone about too much? ideally dont want something to weak to struggle to blow the leaves especially if wet but then again dont want something that is just going to blow stone everywhere into my lawn etc...

We use ours ALL the time. Also it's great INDOORS before vacuuming can blow anything in hard to reach places out. (ie. under beds, between cupboards and walls, all those annoying tight spots) 99% of the time I'm done before the battery runs out. Also, wife uses it as well and loves it.

7:43 I remember stories from back in the 70s about “job site blowers”. They even had their own trailers on some of the bigger sites like the NYSE and Shoream.

So how is this compared to the 36v? Which of the two would you recommend if you had to pick 1? Who makes the better blower makita or Milwaukee?
@toolboss84104 жыл бұрын
Lighter and only needs 1 battery 👍

Awesome I’m looking to expand my ope equipment and this was one of the things I was comparing with the Milwaukee. The other is the power head trimmer from makita and the QUIK lok from Milwaukee. I know you have the Milwaukee but do you have any experience with that makita to weigh in on which one of those is better especially with the other attachments?

Performed better than expected, as you essentially said don't expect RedMax 8500 performance from a 4.0 a.h. cordless blower 👍🏽

This is the test I was looking for. I think this one is capable. I guess no need to pay more and get the 40 volt version.

Hey Boss, I took advantage of the Rigid HACK you posted. I bought 2 kits. Would you suggest I keep all 4 3.0Ah batteries or will 2 be enough? I'm just a DIY hobbyist and not a pro by any means. Thank you.

I have a gas blower also but what I’m using this Makita blower for it perfect lite weight plus a punch. I’m using mine to blow out sand dirt debris out of my toyhauler and quick things garage and even in the house. It’s legitimately a good blower💯

Sticking with my RedMax backpack. It’s loud and weighs 27 lbs but clears leaves better than a 8hp push blower 😎

I saw a commercial last night for Makita and they're giving two 5.0Ah batteries with purchase of this and their other outdoor equipment. Also, while watching Diesel Brothers on Discovery, they made a battery powered minibike to race a Lamborghini and they used twenty 18V Makita batteries. I didn't see the race, had to record the rest of it to do some homework with the kids and whatnot.

I don't know about you but that looks like a Milwaukee to me I think Makita copied a little bit of Milwaukee's design

Electric blowers are terrible. I'm all for electric but Engine blowers produce more wind. Sorry.
