I splurged this weekend, got the $199 Makita battery kit and chose this Circular Saw. My first 6 1/2” saw. Mine came with the dust extraction attachment, it was by itself in a plastic bag. I wouldn’t be surprised, because this happens A LOT, someone probably opened the box up and your dust extraction attachment was probably a casualty of that rude practice some folks do A LOT in Home Depot. My TTI Rep told me most of the people that do open the box up of the circular saws do it simply to “make sure” there is an included saw blade. Then when they find out it does, they put the box back on the shelf they just opened up and rummaged through and then grab an un-opened box and head to the register. Vicious cycle I tell ya thanks boss!

Amos Cardoza I don’t have the boss’s experience but I don’t think so when it comes to the impact/drill. I took mine back. The brushless makita was not much bigger and smoked them.

Tool Boss.... You got the other 6.5" saw, XSH03Z, in the 6 piece kit you bought this time last year. How would you compare the two?

Very similar in performance.. actually find the non sub Compact more comfortable to use ..the sub-compact is definitely smaller and more compact

They are almost identical except this one has two lights and is brushes

Bossman, makita has a brushless 6 1/2 circular saw that is 5000 rpm same as this one. Is one better then the other? I like this subcompact and noticed the regular one is $40 ish more then the subcompact but appears to be basically equal.

Blade on the right hand side an advantage for right-handed people? No. Definitely not. It's the other way around. If you're right handed, you can see the blade if it's on the left of the saw. That's the main point.

The correct way to use a circular saw is to have your body over the blade, this way you get a lot more support and can hold the saw more securely and safely, that’s why most saws have there blade on the right side, I used to have the brushless 18v makita trim saw with the blade on the left, I’m right handed and yes you would think it would be easier and maybe it is a little more logical but in everyday use on site cutting sheet goods, right side blade is the winner for sure ✨💚🙏

Alright it's time to rub it in to you I know I got my saw what's cheaper than yours and it came over duel charger I want Anna died of a little blade and at 2 amp battery it cost me replying to cop tools and winning I'm so sorry to break this news to you like this let you spend a lot of money and that's all but I do like the saw a lot it's very useful lightweight bang for the buck🤣😂😆😃😁😄😅😆😎😃😀😂😄😆 and I used it to pay for my son science project you take care cheers with a beer
