An excellent video demonstration of how the blower would be used at home. I am buying one tomorrow and giving my corded blower to my elderly aunt, that told me she wished she had a blower.

Super well thought out video. And it gets the point across super-fast. Thanks for posting! :D

I totally agree. Actually is better in some cases to blow wet leaves because if dry there will be a lot of dust. Than you have to use good respirator mask.

The xt2 version has way more power (rpms) than the single battery version. The single battery version has enough power though and is super light.

Thanks for the demonstation video. How drained were the batteries after all that and how well do you feel like the batteries hold their charge over time?

I don’t remember exactly but that was probably at least half the battery capacity. It lasts about 10-15 min at full blast. I’ve only had this less than a year and the batteries are still like new. I also have a Makita drill set that I’ve had for 7 years and those batteries still work great which is why I decided it was worth investing in more. I expect long life out of these new ones.

How often you have to do this, every week...is this only 1/10 of all leaves that fall down or even less?

This is a very small percentage of the total leaves that fall here and doing the entire property with this blower is impractical mostly because of how long the batteries last. I since got a giant backpack gas blower but I still love this Makita for blowing off the driveway and think it’s perfect for people with small yards.
