The piston didn't look like it had much time on it. It was gaining power with each cut so it should really come alive in a few tanks.

not going to lie... I'm loving it already! there may be a little more to those rings after another couple gallons of fuel. I don't think there was anymore than 2 tanks of fuel through it after i put the Meteor piston in.

Hi man, here in Argentina that makita is really cheap, 1/3 the price of a new ms660 (yes, we still have 660's for sale) But spare parts and service are scarce, or inexistent. Really, you cant even buy an air filter because nobody sells them. Would you say its a dependable saw, that you can trust?

Makita good saw . I hear you can still buy NEW huskvarna 272xp and 372xp , 372xp in S. America , thats the way i would go

@@sundial6919 Nah, no new 2 stroke bikes here. There are some dealers that sell italian 2 stroke Beta dirtbikes, but other than that, nothing.

@@phrodendekia i was a child in the 60s got my license @14 in ' 71 and a kawasaki h1 500 . 2stroke bikes were everywhere all over the streets in those days . I so miss them an 1 reason im into saws so much . Cheers !
