Seems like the duh523 and 507 are brushed motors. And the 506 is a brushless, only downside is that it is significantly louder. 90db VS 70db.

Have you by any chance found any info on why these trimmers cannot (according to manual ;)) be used to cut grass? I'm talking more about the ones with a pole. Makita has a couple of powerhead attachments that it calls ground trimmers that are intended for grass (EN420MP, EN422MP), but I cannot understand why they are only 25 cm long whereas seemingly identical in terms of construction hedge trimmer attachments are 50 cm. This forces me to postpone the purchase. Speaking of powerhead attachments, I counted 22 in the Garden Tools 2024 Lithuanian catalogue and only three of them are new (in terms of area of application there are at least 13 types). You say there are ten. There are other things you could iron out for future overviews (if you intend to do them, it's extremely hard to break through it on YT ;)), even though overall I think this is a great video. The main thing is the fact that different countries get different tools. For example, you show one XGT (not LXT) one-sided trimmer with a back handle, UH014G, whereas in, say, Estonia or UK there are two, and the other one is older (UH013G), BUT, say, in Lithuania, you won't get any of those and you won't find them in local catalogues or Makita website (there are two LXT models, however, - you don't mention them at all). Furthermore, Makitas in the US have different model numbers so US audience may have difficulties searching for these tools. For example, in US, the two available one-sided XGT trimmers are GHU04 and GHU05 (last letters depend on whether it's a tool only or a bundle, - Europe has almost no bundles, US has plenty, making entry much cheaper). But, again, a valuable contribution nevertheless.

Oh wow, Makita actually had that photo on their own website? I mean, some idiot is going to hold their trimmer like that anyway, but putting that on the website is a liability case waiting for a court room! 😮
