WHO ORS is recommended by WHO and UNICEF as treatment for dehydration across the globe.
But what we have seen is there is generalised lack of awareness among public regarding ORS and they still don't realise that this could be life saving in diarrhoea . What they expect are IV fluid and antibiotics, which should never be the initial treatment in diarrhoea.
