A scam is a scam read up on the definition of the word scam. Let's call a spade a spade and not sugar coat it. After finishing my umrah I had 4 different sisters approach me with empty baby milk bottles asking me to help them with money, after recently being blessed with a daughter it made me feel bad for the sisters because I have a daughter, Allhamdulillah I had the insight not to give anything to the sisters with the bottles

I got harassed during tawaf and they would not leave me alone, even during the namaz, people using the same story they have used for 30 years - I have lost my passport, I have no food and my children are hungry, etc etc. But they are gangs. I had the same in Medina. May Allah SWT protect us and guide us all. ameen

You'll see 2 more scammers (Male), one is on the side of Safa and the other one stay on the Marwa side. During Sai, they'll come to you and will try to start a conversation. Others in the Shopping area when you try to have a meal, some guys wearing Ihram will come to you and say - "Oh I just completed my Umrah, but I don't have any money." I also met some in Madina outside of Al Masjid an Nabawi, they'll try to find out where you came from, do not engage in any conversation. Just do your prayers and avoid them. Be careful of these scammers.
