did those scratches in the paint happen while replacing the switch i did not see them in the first part of video? is there something i should be aware of before i try and replace?
@Maknificent12now4 жыл бұрын
Guilty as charged. Hindsight I’d have masked off that area w/ painters tape or if possible a simple cloth

Trying to trouble shoot my glass. TIA for any ideas. Liftgate opens/closes from overhead button, keyfob, or liftgate. The back glass will not pop/release from fob or from the button. My button is there and seems to be in good order.
@Maknificent12now4 жыл бұрын
What’s the story on it? Has it ever worked? Recent malfunction?
@glendayle4 жыл бұрын
So I haven't really driven it for months due to COVID, and I don't open the glass hatch often. I actually didn't know there was button on the back, so I don't know if that ever worked. The fob has always worked. I've had the vehicle for about 3 years.

LOL! Dude scratched the fuck out of the paint! Good video though. Shows how to replace this button quick and easy. I wouldn't want to put those marks on my Yukon. I'd be a bit more carful.

I guess you weren’t too concerned about gouging your paint…..🤦🏻♂️

All part of the plan my guy. Why gouge paint on separate video when you can do it all in one? 😂

@Maknificent12now4 жыл бұрын
What's the story on the window? Meaning does it work intermittently or did it just stop working suddenly? Next step would be to test if the device itself is faulty or if entire module is not getting signal from the vehicle.... Use the key fob and test if the window opens when you press the button for window to open on the key fob. If it does open then you know it's definitely the module. If it doesn't then it's the entire window release mechanism that might be faulty. Let me know
