Yeah,in some of the episodes u can found Cam,Evie & Lyla appear as unnamed background/cameo characters & they looked much younger than their appearance in mako mermaids since h2o was released almost 3-7 years before mako mermaids I remember that Cam was appeared in 1 or 2 episodes in 1st & 2nd season & Evie & Lyla also appeared in 1 or 2 episodes in 3rd season

I remember watching this show in middle school so long ago. I would go home and watch h2o on the computer while doing my homework. And I remember being stoked when I found Nickelodeon was showing it on the weekends. Nobody knew about the show when I watched it but it became more popular just like avatar the last Airbender lol I made everyone in school watch that show too. Obsessed. This show has the best cast the most beautiful girls. I really loved the original trio though I was sad when Emma left the show. it just wasn't the same

Yeah,I hope there's a episode or two in the future season which had Rikki,Cleo,Emma & Bella(they are possibly at their 20s or 30s)reunite together & talk about their past story/experience as mermaids to the mako mermaids' protagonists at the mako pool & using the stock footages from h2o as flashback secens

Australia has made some great shows, but the film industry is pretty small so it's hard to get casted in a good show or movie. I think It's a shame, because therefore some Aussies actors never got the recognition they deserved. But I do understand their decision not move.

I really love and care for Cariba Heine/Rikki Chadwick. As I do for the other H2O cast (Clair Holt & Phoebe) with most of the Mako Mermaid cast. I really like to meet them. I hope they all stay safe and be healthy.

This would have make sense if Mako mermaids happened before H2O but Rikki at the end of the season never even heard there is hundreds of REAL mermaids, Never seen one until this (seriously that would have been easy to spot from them and the sea was literally empty of mermaids) and she does diving a lot. She does cameo only for nostalgia and to me this is alternate universe because Mako mermaids just don't make sense with continueity. Also I hate how they "nerfed" Rikki's powers just because Moonrings were so powerfull. Also adding natural mermaids They took from H2O trio away the reason to be "Special"

what I hate most this new one is they keep changing the cast. 3 mermaids from the beginning, who turned Zac back into merman, all left, no one stay at the end. In h20, at least we still had Rikki & Cleo at the end of season 3.

This is my theory:maybe before Cleo,Emma and Rikki became mermaids,another pod of mermaids have some problems and Mako pod went to help them just like how Nerissa went to help Eastern pod fight against Aurora and in the moment they left,Cleo,Emma and Rikki became mermaids and when H2O mermaids finished high school and left Gold Coast,Mako pod come back to Mako.Maybe that's why H2O mermaids and Mako pod never meet each other.But this is just my theory

If mako mermaids has thousands and is after h20,please remember that they are half fish and just like regular fsh they migrate. If you watch the first episode,it doesn't even show the other persons in the pod but focus on the main 3. The only time they did show them was during the pod celebration in the very beginning. Obviously it was made in the way where when they migrated (during h2o) or as the above comment stated,they left to help fight so mako no longer had people to protect it so it gifted Cleo, Emma and Rikki. Mako mermaids was the spin off where land girls who got powers grew to know that there were real mermaids before her who were the original trio. From there, as mermaids who just want to protect an island gems up together. Its not rocket science. Plus when rikki came as a cameo,they did say she traveled a lot

The one thing I think most fans can agree on is this series was upsetting one the last episode because it didnt end well with what Rikki says. Knowing that she mentions Cleo and Emma (perhaps Bella) possibly meeting the pod but we never got to see it. I mean I'd love to see a reunion as a crossover having the 3 original mermaids meeting up with the Mako mermaids, going on a wild adventure and then meeting the pod
