Great video Ziggy, love your videos as you come straight to the point and always seem to capture what people want to know in a machine. They are a real pleasure to watch. On the downside, if I don't see you wearing gloves in your next video I am going to order you some myself! I don't want to see you contract all those horrible livestock diseases that fester in grass/pasture!!!! Thanks for posting!

I truly take on board about the gloves and your right about the nasty stuff that lays in the ground. Other people have said I should be wearing gloves so I will have to start making a habit of it 👍

From what ive gathered while in disc the isat setting effects the mineralisation bars true reading. Oddly enough when i change to the larger 13x12 nel coil it reads less bars in the same ground!

Sorry for the late reply..... I've been out of action as such. I will be doing a article and video on this hopefully next week. Will show how settings affect the mineralisation scale. Very noticeable balancing in all metal and the swapping to disc.

Hi Ziggy , I have Makro Racer red at the moment and am very pleased with its performance . Do you think that the Racer 2 is that much improved over the original to warrant me upgrading? And how does compare to more expensive machines like the deus or ctx ? Thanks for a very informative video.

Sorry for the late Reply..... The Racer 1 is very good and what I've seen in Performance they ain't to many differences, but the Racer 2 has other features that can help out on certain grounds where the Racer 1 may struggle. As for its performance it's up there, many machines perform in different ways... Now the racer will find targets where the Deus won't... But the same for the Deus against the Racer 2 Good all round machine but unless your having issues with the Racer 1 maybe there is no need to jump on the Racer 2

Field time is the best way.... Set your Tone Break to ten and get stuck in. You've got a good detector for your first machine 👍 Happy hunting

good vid ziggy, it must be very good ground you have as the mineralisation scale mostly showed zero and allowed you good depth, the only target showing 2 bars mineralisation was the shallow sixpence. My ground shows mostly 3-4 or bar mineralisation and it kills the racers depth, give it a go and see how you get on!

If I recall I was testing ISAT in all metal on certain areas and that reading carries on over to disc, so if you run a high level of ISAT in all metal then GB in Disc you will get a showing of low levels of mineralisation If you run a low level of ISAT in all metal and then swap to Disc then you mineralisation bar will read higher. But in general my search areas are neutral + 2 On going tests to be done 👍
