Lars gets much criticism, but he executes the drumming very well here.

I read somewhere that they said this was the least stressing recording session, for this album. By every means, not only regarding the studio time. They allegedly had the most fun as a band, recording this album. Just saying.

Roach let’s just say he is not as bad as they say,but he sure isn’t as good as any one in his band, sure hetfield isn’t good on guitar but he does the job really well, plus he keeps up with the vocals,so tbh i would see a lot of people in place of lars to say the least

This combination is sooo heavy and so great... that trash and quick drumsound with that great bassline and the screaming James is for my a great combination

Apparently you don't know much about him. He was in Suicidal Tendencies years ago and played in Ozzy Osbournes band before Metallica. Rob's a pretty badass guy, and puts in 110%. He connects with the crowd, puts on a good show, and is a pretty funky bass player too with many styles. You can tell he loves doing what he does. I love Rob lol.

This is a really great bass line, but I think it's a little too soft. The bass can barely be heard.

Bodies fill the fields I see Hungry heroes end No one to play soldier now No one to pretend Running blind through killing fields Bred to kill them all Victim of what said should be A servant 'til I fall Soldier boy, made of clay Now an empty shell Twenty one, only son But he served us well Bred to kill, not to care Do just as we say Finished here, greetings death He's yours to take away Back to the front You will do what I say when I say Back to the front You will die when I say you must die Back to the front You coward You servant You blind man Barking of machine gun fire Does nothing to me now Sounding of the clock that ticks Get used to it somehow More a man, more stripes you wear Glory seeker trends Bodies fill the fields I see The slaughter never ends Soldier boy, made of clay Now an empty shell Twenty one, only son But he served us well Bred to kill, not to care Do just as we say Finished here, greetings death He's yours to take away Back to the front You will do what I say when I say Back to the front You will die when I say you must die Back to the front You coward You servant You blind man Why, am I dying? Kill, have no fear Lie, live off lying Hell, hell is here (Solo) Why, am I dying? Kill, have no fear Lie, live off lying Hell, hell is here I was born for dying Life planned out before my birth Nothing could I say Had no chance to see myself Molded day by day Looking back I realize Nothing have I done Left to die with only friend Alone I clench my gun Soldier boy, made of clay Now an empty shell Twenty one, only son But he served us well Bred to kill, not to care Do just as we say Finished here, greetings death He's yours to take away Back to the front You will do what I say when I say Back to the front You will die when I say you must die Back to the front You coward You servant You blind man Back to the front Back to the front Back to the front Back to the front Back to the front

@MpchermidafilhoA I play guitar, so I tend to like cliff's style more then someone that plays bass. Hes wasnt the best in the world but he never got the chance to reach his full potential, because he died so young.

@MpchermidafilhoA my comment was a swipe at their new bass player. He looks like they found him frozen in a cave some where and slapped a bass in his hands. I would never say anything negative about cliff burton. He's freeking awsome. sorry about the confusion.
