In this PE2 exercise, we highlight the success of the I-24/7 system in the Maldives, in which Maldivian Law Enforcement Entities utilized the I-24/7 system, following national standard operating procedures to strengthen traveler screening systems, border management and security.
[PE2] Practical Exercise and Performance Evaluations
[PE2] is a tool that blends a targeted evaluation of a Partner Nation capability with an exercise in a realistic, simulated environment. The result is quick turn, actionable data to validate CT-funded Partner Nation capabilities, identify gaps and areas for improvement, and communicate returns on investment.
The purpose of this functional exercise is to demonstrate the programs achievements, notate its best practices, and ensure the capabilities of key republic of Maldives law enforcement entities ability to collect, analyze and utilize data from the Interpol 24/7 network and advisory notices in terrorist related incidents. This 3 day exercise allowed Maldivian Government officials to test the capabilities of the I-24/7 system in a real world scenario with no consequences. These functional table top exercises included representatives from the NCB, Police Service CT Intelligence Directorate, CT Operations Directorate, Immigration and Customs Officials.
[PE2] provides a scalable and customized evaluation approach designed to answer stakeholder's specific questions about a project or Partner Nation recipient.
[PE2] can be applied to any type of CT program or core competency.
