遺跡壊しの蘭堂一家のロボットアニメ！ ちなみに探しているのはスワスティカ。 お寺のマークである卍と逆卍(ナチスが悪用したせいで悪のシンボル扱いされてしまった印) このアニメで初めて曲にロボット名も必殺技名等も入らなくなった最初の作品。 ここから山本正之はＪ９シリーズ等ではアニソン曲をロック調にしたりして、その流れが現在のアニソンへと繋がって行く事になる。

@KAISERANIME That's because Ultraman was just dubbed, however the voices used may seem somewhat racist by today'sstandards. Power Rangers was an 'Americanised' tokusatsu adaptation, where they simply replaced all the Japanese actors with American ones, so that children (the primary target audience) can easily relate and reconise them. They do have some actors of Asian decent as at least one ranger per team, but they're demograph was more balanced.

That may be true, HOWEVER, we are getting the series on Blu-ray here in the states today with English subtitles so there is that at least. Hell, I pre-ordered the series because it looked interesting, although I am going into it mostly blind so I guess there is only one way to find out if it’s good!

@KAISERANIME I see, interesting names forthe planned J-9 trilogy. It certanly would be a fasinating watch if any pilots were made of these shows. But yeah I certanly haven't heard of an English dub for any of these shows, mind you English dubs probably do exsist, but only in countries in South East Asia where English is spoken as a primary language.

@KAISERANIME The translations may be acurate, but the acting in South East Asian english dubs, won't have the same sort of acting that North American dubs have, in fact some times they're acting can be really poor, the English dubs of the Transformers Japanese series is proof of that. But you will have to content sometimes with localrisation, name changes and edits etc. Though that all depends on who the North American audience will be.

@KAISERANIME An English dub of Zyuranger wouldn't have worked back in the day. The show would have had to be edited to eliminate content which a western audience would find upsetting and some of the plots would have made very little to no sense, unless you live in Japan and thus running times would vary between episode to episode. The only real target audience for Zyuranger uncut woul;d be young adults who like the show, it could come out with English subs one day perhaps.

@David315842 For example an episode of Kakuranger had two Yokai in human form get intimate near a humkan boy, so intimate it looks like they were about to have sex, while some countries like Japan and some in Europe may not see this as too big of an issue, countries like America will and deem it inappropiate for it's target audience. A lot of these Japanese purists seem to forget that the target audience for most of these shows are children and America has different values to Japan's.

@KAISERANIME How is Asian TV shows not being aired on USTV racist?! If anything it dosen't get aired because it's in an entirely different language! Some European countries actually have similar moral views to Japan, that's why shows get aired uncut in their native languages since they're not afraid of what goes on in these shows. When America gets a hold of something, it's censored due to concerns from parents and religious persons who may be offended by these differences in views.

@KAISERANIME You seem like you don't know that different countries have different points of view on censorship and what's deemed suitable for all viewers, since Japan exposes kids to stuff that we don't, that's why some shows need to be edit and can't simply be dubbed. Though 4kids did recentily try and dub Ultraman Tiga, but that went down poorily, since it was edited. The purists would want to see a show uncut and the majority would prefer subtitles over a dub.
