nuhuh!! Ben is not only the literal king in charge of reconnecting auradon to the isle of the lost, but regardless, he has every right to go to the funeral. at the end of the day when something tragic like that happens, people need all the support they can get, and ben obviously isn't trying to start drama, he just wants to go and mourn.
