INGREDIENTS:
PRAWNS - 1/2 cup marinated using chilly powder and salt
Oil - 01tablespoon
Onion - 02 medium sized
Green chilly - 02 (can be increased accordingly)
Ginger,garlic paste - 01 tablespoon
Curryleaves - 05 leaves chopped
Salt - to taste
Garam masala - 1/4 teaspoon
Pepper powder - 1/4 teaspoon (optional)
Grated coconut - 02 tablespoons
For dough,
Rice flour - 01 cup
Fennel seeds - 01 tablespoon
Onion - 1/2 piece
Grated coconut - 1 handful
For frying,
Red chilly powder - 03 tablespoons
Salt to taste
Water
PREPARATION:
*Heat a pan or pot and add oil.
*Fry the marinated prawns and keep it aside.
*Into the same pan add chopped onion,green chilly, ginger garlic paste and curryleaves.
*Add salt to taste and mix well.
*Now add garam masala and pepper powder and saute’ well.
*Add coconut ,mix well and cover and cook for 10 mints in low flame.
*Masala is ready.
*Dough is prepared same as for undaputt.
*Follow the steps shown in the vdeo to make the ada’s .
*Prepare the batter for frying by mixing chilly powder ,salt and water.
*Dip the ada in batter and fry it in the oil by flipping both sides.
And your chemmeen ada is ready.
